Saving gas

7/20/2006
Today I discovered that there is an express bus route from downtown Fullerton, where I live, directly to the University Research Park, which is the commercial complex at UC Irvine where I work. The bus had plenty of room, was air conditioned and took the carpool lane all the way down the 55 freeway. I got to work in about 45 minutes door-to-door, which is about the same as it would take me to drive... except I got to read the newspaper instead of pounding my fists in traffic.

Cost: $1.25

This could be a new thing for me.

2 posts in one day for yoU! You must have been bored at work!!

Pretty sweet they have teh bus. Where did it drop you at? Isn't it the next entry down closer to University? I remember seeing the buses waiting there at the end of the day.

It's also awsome because at lunch time when they say "who wants to drive?" you can say "no car today guys."

That's the best!

He did that even when he drove his car in!

Hah, that's pretty sweet - I've lamented the state of O.C. public transportation since moving out here. It takes me over an hour to get to work by bus when a drive is 15 mins.
