Jim got his 2-wheel-drive stuck in a precarious spot at the bottom.

First we tried to pull him out. The hill was much steeper than it looks.

He was going to roll over, so we had to lift his rear end up.

Travelers Monument - all travelers must carry a rock across the lake and add it to the pile. There is a plaque in the middle - only those who travel the Mojave can know what it says.

On the second night we stayed at Rasor Ranch OHV. There were some big dunes here.
