Big Sur Camping Pictures - Page 1
Jessica and I borrowed my parents' RV and went up to Big Sur for a week. If you've never been there, Big Sur is the 90 miles of central California coastline between San Simeon and Carmel, where steep California mountains meet the ocean. While were there, we went hiking, explored dozens of remote beaches, drove through dark redwood forests and through the mountains. Here are the pics.

Big-Sur-0111 Our first campsite in Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park. We had to move 3 more times during the week because we made our reservations so late. |
Big-Sur-0033 We went for a hike up the Pfeiffer Redwood Creek towards the falls. |

Big-Sur-0120 We followed these park rangers, wondering what they were looking for. |
Big-Sur-0127 Then we found an upside-down Humpback whale, taking a nap on the beach. It was probably about 30-40 feet long. |

Big-Sur-0132 Later that day, we went for the only legal Big Sur jeep ride along the Old Coast Road. |
